Tate Saurey, M.D. (1)

Dr. Tate Saurey attended medical school at the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed a medical internship at Indiana University. He underwent surgical residency training at the University of South Carolina where he served as academic chief resident and lead the nation in number of cataract surgeries performed by a resident physician. Dr. Saurey specializes in sutureless, advanced technology cataract surgery, astigmatism correction, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, oculoplastic procedures, and the management of diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. 

Dr. Saurey frequently volunteers his talents to support surgical mission trips internationally, and volunteers his time and resources to support global and local charity organizations. He is the recipient of numerous awards for his outstanding commitment to service and volunteer work. He is fluent in Spanish and certified as an advanced medical translator. 

Dr. Saurey enjoys mountain biking, fishing, boating, and most of all, spending time with his wife and 3 children.
